Air Conditioning maintenance can save you on repairs.
Summer temperatures are on the rise this week. Is your cooler up to the task? Here are some tips for making sure your air conditioning unit is operating in top condition:
Keep your thermostat at a regular temperature or on a steady schedule. Moving the dial up and down when you are hot or cold will only lead to higher energy bills and a strain on your equipment.
Change your air filter every 6 weeks. This will improve air flow and keep sensitive equipment from getting dirty and damaged.
Inspect your compressor coils. Your unit needs to be cleaned regularly. If the coils become dirty and filled with debris, air flow is restricted and the unit becomes less efficient. If the build up is great enough over time, you could permanently damage your unit.
